Volunteer Information Meeting
For all prospective volunteers, this recruitment meeting is for those who want to learn more about becoming a volunteer. A mini-tour of the museum, information packet and a question and answer session highlight the evening. ADULTS
If you are age 19 and older and decide to become a museum volunteer, you will be asked to complete the following steps:

  • Attend a volunteer information meeting
  • Complete a volunteer application
  • Undergo a background check
  • Attend a Museum Orientation

Each volunteer position has its own selection process designed to match volunteers to that position. This process depends upon the qualifications required, the number of volunteers needed, and the needs of the position supervisor. In addition, many positions require additional training depending on the type of position. Please note:  Volunteer placement is a selective process and not all applicants are accepted into the program.  The Wildlife Experience reserves the right to place volunteers in an area best suited to the applicant’s skills and the needs of the museum.
